I'm a Staff Software Engineer working at the intersection of AI agents and AI security. Based in Bengaluru, originally from Jamshedpur.
How I got here
I graduated from Maharishi Markandeshwar University in 2018 with a B.Tech in Computer Science. Started at Infosys on the C# / Java training track, then self-learned AngularJS and shipped my first production code fixes.
In January 2019 I joined Barracuda Networks as an Associate Software Engineer. I worked on the WAF release stream — Perl and Python automation, modernising legacy AngularJS surfaces, self-learning React on the job. By mid-2021 I was a Software Engineer, and I was sent abroad (the youngest on the team at the time) to take end-to-end ownership of a project hand-off. In June 2023 I moved up to Senior Software Engineer.
What I'm working on now
I'm the sole architect of an MCP server with RAG that turns Barracuda's 20,596-line WAAS OpenAPI spec into something Claude and other MCP-compatible agents can query in natural language. Custom RAG pipeline, 21-intent evaluation harness, JWKS auth, three-service Docker deployment with Kustomize overlays for public vs private cloud.
I also pitched, prototyped, and shipped the multi-tenant migration that cut our SaaS VM cost by ~60% — one of the pieces of work I'm most proud of, because the leverage ratio (small architectural change → very large recurring saving) is exactly what I find satisfying.
Beyond work
On weekends I build small personal projects — Kosha (a personal investment tracker) and Event Planner (a shared budget PWA we used for our own wedding). Both live in production on Supabase's free tier. If you like pattern-matching to see how I think about code, they're a reasonable window.
What I'm looking for
Roles where AI-agent engineering and application-security thinking overlap. Distributed systems where product decisions have a measurable dollar impact. Teams that ship.
